I know it well and at the time (80’s) they had a fairly large lot, no idea now.

I understand where you’re coming from. I’ve seen some places hiring bouncer
like guards to keep criminals out. They may come in with ill intent, but they leave empty-handed.

The Police lot is fenced off with iron bars now, hence why I said the public lot is 5 cars.
I drive by the PD station daily, and I own a tow business in the area.
80’s was well before I was born, I can only attest to how it is now a days.
