US CENTCOM pulls closer to Israeli military as Mossad tests Iran
AI Monitor ^ | February 1, 2023 | Jared Szuba

Last week, for the first time ever, US Air Force F-35s launched from the USS George H.W. Bush flew several hundred miles over the Mediterranean and linked up with Israeli F-35s to simulate a combined attack on surface-to-air missile batteries in the Negev desert.

As they neared the target, accompanying F-16s and F-15s peeled away to attack as many as ten fourth-plus-generation aircraft posing as the defenders of an imagined enemy airspace.

The first wave successfully cleared the skies, enabling the strikers — three nuclear-capable US B-52 bombers that had taken off from the United States some 16 hours prior, tailed by US and Israeli fighters — to drop more than 100,000 pounds of live munitions on mock strategic targets.

Elsewhere over the Mediterranean last week, US and Israeli AH-64 Apaches attacked targets posing a mock threat to naval ships, while combat search and rescue helicopter teams refueled mid-air to "rescue" crew members on the ground in northern Israel.

Members of CENTCOM’s Space Force units also took part with Israeli counterparts for the first time, contributing to precision navigation and missile early warning. While their specific role in the exercise remains classified, Guillot described it as a noteworthy success.

The exercise — the largest and most complex ever undertaken between the US and Israel — marked a key stress test for the Pentagon’s desired ability to surge forces into any region of the world on short notice, rather than depend on an existing military footprint – a principle known as Dynamic Force Employment.

Yet many of the capabilities showcased last week were strikingly similar to those Israel would need to carry out long-range strikes on Iran’s nuclear sites, analysts and former US officials have pointed out.

I’m sure I don’t have to tell Israel not to trust the current U.S. regime. Sad.

Given the uproar and rending of clothes that a simple election of Netanyahu caused I am inclined to trust Israeli leadership over Brandon’s.

Really it’s a puzzle why Iran is so obsessed with Israel. The place is three countries away from Iran. It’s like Iran has to make someone an enemy and just chose the closest non-Muslim country to blame for their problems.

It would be like us complaining about Costa Rica. It doesn’t make sense.

They may want a Pearl Harbor event so America can jump feet first into the war.

Without Israel to obsess over, the hardline Iranian factions would probably fall on each other. Much of the Arab world used to be that way too, but some of them have figured out a better alternative. (Moderate, crush the fanatics, and get along with Israel.)

I’ve always liked the “Rods from God” kinetic energy weapons, which can be scaled down, to screwdriver size, for tanks, and crowbars for bunkers, and if the bunker is buried, and hardened, then telephone pole size tungsten rods moving at 10 km/s (KE = 1/2 m v^2) [m with a telephone pole sized rod must be several tons and the velocity (v) becomes massive, when squared] would impart nuclear weapon level energy, in a small footprint, and likely destroy bumlers 100’s of feet down. Several serial strikes of these poles would likely drill down as far as you needed to go, by continuing to strike the target, with multiple strikes, separated by several seconds.

This is Arnold Toynbee’s internal and external proletariat. To maintain power you have to have both as a pretext for maintaining forever enemies. Proletariat=enemy.

For America in internal proletariat is straight Christians and the external proletariat is Russia.

For Iran the external proletariat is Israel, the internal proletariat are women who won’t conform to the rules of their “morality police”.

Let's hope CENTCOM's Space Force isn't WOKE... like the other branches...

Really it’s a puzzle why Iran is so obsessed with Israel.

Because Israel is the land of the Jews which all good muslims and especially 12er Shiia (Iranian Mullahs) are required to hate and to kill at any cost - See koran, the Hadiths and Sunnahs which chronicle the life and sayings of Mo, these are Talibari, Muslim, Isaq and Bukhari; Hadiths are Mohammed’s word to his followers, The Sunnahs are the history of Muhammad and his motto (sic) was “Kill, kill, kill”
