Donald Trump has suggested he trusts Russian president Vladimir Putin more than the "lowlifes" who work in U.S. intelligence.
In a post on Truth Social, the former president referenced comments he gave after meeting with Putin in Helsinki, Finland, in 2018 when he said that he didn't "see any reason" why Russia would have meddled in the 2016 election, despite what the FBI stated.
Trump once again suggested he trusts Putin over U.S. intelligence while sharing an a article about former FBI official Charles McGonigal, a leading figure in the FBI's investigation into the Trump campaign's ties to Russia ahead of the 2016 election.
McGonigal was recently arrested on suspicion of a number of offenses, including working with a sanctioned Russian oligarch.
"Remember in Helsinki when a 3rd rate reporter asked me, essentially, who I trusted more, President Putin of Russia, or our 'Intelligence' lowlifes," Trump said in the Truth Social post

No one, I mean no real American, should trust the intelligence communities after what they did to Trump. Now, with the revelations that they are connected to assignations of JFK and MLK, we as a people need to think. Trump trust Putin like everyone else, almost zero. The problem is that our own government is proving itself less trustworthy than Putin….
It would be funny if it want tragic for the Republic and freedom.

The idea that US Intelligence would lie to the public is well known to them, but NO ONE, including Trump, should EVER say it in public.
I respectfully suggest Trump needs to be careful about what he says.
The deep state and MSM went wild when Trump met Putin. Treason they screamed. All the while they were plotting against him. Despicable.
No wonder MSN’s home page is in full, daily meltdown over Donald Trump.

I fail to see the humor. Yeah sure I could dig down and try to find out why this is supposed to be cute. But I won't cause it's not.
Both are a problem and both need a plan. And if most Americans had to choose who they would ultimately trust more, if their life depended on it, it wouldn't be Putin.
That will win Trump the independent vote.
We are literally being pushed off a cliff. I suggest we at least say STOP!
