I have tried to follow up on various shootings that happened during various local protests. They seemed like self-defense may have been justified regardless of what the initial news reports said. Eg “man drives car into peaceful march and begins shooting.”

Two cases come to mind where the initial reports are still there but no follow up (from years ago). I can only surmise that they were deemed self-defense.
