The Pentagon press secretary has been implying that the tanks going to Ukraine will be newly built for Ukraine. Don’t know why.
But there’s a war, so it’s hard to tell what they’re really going to do. They simply won’t tell all to the general public during a war for obvious reasons.
Several countries have stocks on M-60s that they might be happy to trade in for newer models.
