2024 will mark 20 years since Republicans last won the popular vote. Can they rebrand in time to stop losing streak?

2024 will mark a sorry anniversary for the Republican Party: 20 years since President George W. Bush’s 2004 reelection campaign won both the popular and Electoral College votes. That feat has since eluded three GOP presidential nominees and one incumbent.

The critical question is, “Are Republicans capable of nominating a winning ticket to halt this embarrassing losing trend?” I doubt it since rapidly changing demographics are reducing the Republicans’ popular vote count in battleground states.

In 2016, Donald Trump was elected president by winning only the Electoral College — a political fluke that he did not repeat in 2020. Moreover, the demeaning label “illegitimate president” can haunt a commander in chief who wins without the popular vote. Just ask George W. Bush, circa 2000.

To understand how this forthcoming non-celebratory 20th anniversary of continuous political loss manifested itself, let’s begin with notable 2004 state voting data and compare it to 2020 state results.

But first, the basic facts: Incumbent President George W. Bush defeated Sen. John Kerry (D-Mass.) in a demure, respectable campaign by today’s standards. Bush won the popular vote 50.7 to 48.3 percent and the Electoral College vote 286 to 251.

I doubt we will see another blow out such as 1988 with Bush 41. 426 electoral votes.

Not as long as the RATS are allowed to use their mail order politician system. Once that is stopped, we’ve got to run about 50 million RAT Party invaders from across the border out of our country.

The corruption of America’s electoral system is steady and constant, like a crumbling foundation of a house.

It all depends on the counting, doesn’t it?

Yeah. 81 million people voted for the turd in the punch bowl. She who must not be named was supposed to win in a rigged election in 2016. But they didn’t rig it enough. Then they rigged the midterms in 2018, rigged the general in 2020 and the midterms again in 2022. There are all kinds of data out there besides election results that show this country doesn’t like democrat policies and the way we’re headed. And yet, we seem to always vote just enough to keep the Dems in office. Funny that.

They are talking about the presidential vote though. We’re going to need better candidates than what we’ve had in the last 20 years. The sad part is that the Dems win it despite having very very bad candidates. Hillary for example. And Biden.

The article points out Trump’s narrow margin in 3 states

“Trump, who lost the popular vote in 2016, was elected president because he busted through the triple blue wall by winning an extra 77,744 votes spread across Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin — earning 46 electoral votes. “

But it doesn’t mention Biden’s narrow margin in 3 States that netted him 37 electoral votes

Georgia 16 11,779 0.24%
Arizona 11 10,457 0.31%
Wis. 10 20,682 0.63%

One problem is if you add up all these states:

New York
California
Illinois
Massachusetts

Those pretty much give the Rat half the EVs they need without having to spend a dime.

Better than Trump? Better than his RECORD?

Which POTUS was as successful as Trump? Look at what Trump accomplished:

  1. Gas price per gallon was about $2.30;
  2. Inflation about 1.4%, mortgage rates were half of what they are now;
  3. Unemployment was low before Covid and before Blue Governors shut everything down and we were in the midst of a V-shape recovery until January 22, 2021;
  4. Tax decrease; tax laws promoted small businesses as well as large;
  5. US enjoyed energy independence - No Green Agenda, no war on energy, No Paris Treaty;
  6. No war in Ukraine, no threat of nuclear war, NATO paid its way;
  7. China was quiet and we were winning the trade war;
  8. US companies were bringing home the jobs due to well executed tax treatments;
  9. Peace in the Middle East aka Abraham Accords; US Embassy moved to Jerusalem; and Iran was isolated.
  10. Got three non-left “I don't know what a woman is” Supreme Court Justices on the bench allowing Roe vs Wade to be overturned.

Who the heck can accomplish the above in four years while being impeached twice and investigated by Obama's Weaponized Agencies?

I don’t care that California manufactures 1 billion people voting, making the popular vote overwhelmingly Democrat, outside of the perversion of what it does to California’s own legitimate voters.

The Popular Vote is not what matters, and because it’s faked by some states, it does not mean the country is actually represented.

We’re going to need better candidates than what we’ve had in the last 20 years.

The implication is they you don't agree that Trump was a great President and a great candidate. Oh, and brain dead got 81 million "real" votes. Therefore, I select you for the "Stupidest post of the day" ( the day is young I know )....

MAGA, now and forever. No substitutes. Get it GOP losers? Ronna are you listening?
