California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) railed against “weapons of war” after the suspected Half Moon Bay shooter used a handgun to kill seven people.
Breitbart News reported the suspected shooter killed seven people in separate shootings on two mushroom farms early Monday afternoon.
CBS News noted that the suspected shooter “drove himself to the substation located between the two businesses and surrendered to deputies.” They pointed out that the weapon used was “a [semiautomatic] handgun.”

Just lighting up the “gun safety” issue for his 2024 presidential run. Of course he is indeed ignorant, but then so are his constituency.

Unless you are using a pirate gun or you are Alex Baldwin, every modern handgun is “semi automatic.” You pull the trigger it fires. Then it loads another round—either through a movement of the cylinder or through the slide movement to the rear.
Actually, I think we have an “old Asian guy” problem in CA.
And it’s worth asking him some pointed questions.
Among those would be how could these tragic events happen considering California has some of the strictest gun laws in the country?
Democrats have overwhelming majorities in the California state legislature and they have a Democrat Governor in Newsom. So Democrats in California are in position to do whatever the hell they want, on gun control or any other issue.

As I understand it, a revolver is not a “semiautomatic” firearm, but rather a “repeating” firearm.

I know that is what lever action rifles are called.
I was basing this off my own experience. I have a revolver that holds 8 rounds. I have a pistol that holds 8 rounds. If they are both loaded, I can simply pull the trigger 8 times to shoot eight rounds each. There is no separate “cocking or loading” action required (as there would be a lever rifle or single action revolver.)
I understand the technicality..but it walks like a duck and quacks like (a loud) duck.

The shooter was an illegal immigrant who stole a gun from BLM (not "Black Lives Matter" but "Bureau of Land Management")
