Ah, so it was Biden's "strategy" to have the FBI search his house

By this point, the troves of classified documents turning up at multiple locations where Joe Biden lived or worked has reached the point where even MSNBC feels obligated to cover it. (Albeit while continually shrieking that the Bad Orange Man is still far worse.) Some of his top aides are bailing out like rats leaving a sinking ship. And having the FBI show up at his home in Delaware and discover even more documents after Biden’s own lawyers supposedly scrubbed the place should have been the coup de grâce, right? Who would rush in at this point to rescue Biden’s battered reputation?

Never fear! The Associated Press rides to the rescue this week, declaring that the FBI search was actually a brilliant part of Biden’s “strategy” to put this all behind him. They’re describing it as “a legal and political calculation” that will “pay off in the long run.”

President Joe Biden’s decision allowing the FBI to search his home in Delaware last week is laying him open to fresh negative attention and embarrassment following the earlier discoveries of classified documents at that home and a former office. But it’s a legal and political calculation that aides hope will pay off in the long run as he prepares to seek reelection.

The remarkable, nearly 13-hour search by FBI agents of the sitting president’s Wilmington home is the latest political black eye for Biden, who promised to restore propriety to the office after the tumultuous tenure of his predecessor, Donald Trump.

There are a couple more notable revelations in this report. First, a White House spokesperson confirmed this week that “Biden’s own attorneys invited the FBI to conduct the search.” So it was never a “raid” to begin with. Biden’s team “invited” the FBI to come and search the house. Without that invitation, the Bureau would never have shown up, to say nothing of kicking down the doors as they did at Mar-A-Lago.

But if that’s the case, how did the FBI manage to find six more classified documents after Biden’s lawyers combed through the place for days? Are they really that bad at conducting a search or were those documents left there for a reason? And if it’s the latter, was the reason to help Biden or to try to usher him out the door more quickly?

Getting back to Biden’s brilliant “strategy,” the AP goes on to say that Uncle Joe “is aiming to show that, unlike Trump, he never intended to retain classified materials.” This is supposedly going to be “a key distinction that experts say diminishes the risks of criminal liability.”

Okay. So the President never intended to retain classified materials at his home or office. So how did the documents get there? Did they stick to the seat of his pants as he was leaving for the day, only to conveniently be blown free by the wind and land in some boxes next to his Corvette? Or does he plan to claim that someone else on his staff removed the documents and he had no idea it was being done? If so, that’s potentially even worse because the “somebody else” in question very likely didn’t have anywhere near the clearance level required to look at the documents, to say nothing of taking them out of the building and sticking them in his garage.

Even the experts that the AP brought in to comment couldn’t bring themselves to approve of his conduct. Former senior Justice Department national security official Mary McCord said that it was “wrong” for Biden to have the documents and that it demonstrates how there were “lapses” at the end of the Obama-Biden administration. But that’s still far too generous since some of the documents date back to when Joe Biden was in the Senate, not the Vice President’s office. We have no idea how many years (or decades) those documents were laying around where Hunter Biden could have gotten his grubby little hands on them.

If all of this is Biden’s “strategy” to put the classified document scandal behind him and run for another term, I have to question the motives of whoever cooked up the plan. This looks a lot more like a series of self-inflicted wounds than any sort of path to victory.

This whole process still seems all too contrived from the first day Biden’s 1st classified docs were “found.” I’m still suspicious that this is a setup to protect the Dems, even Biden for that matter, and screw over Trump. Something just doesn’t seem right.

Here what they told us about Peter Strzok and Lisa Page leading a team of Trump Resistance Leaders. Hillary’s staff lied over and over - per texts, and not one was charged with Jay walking. There were No Raids.

If fact, Strzok claimed much later his team just missed the Classified Markings, they didn’t see them.

And the National Archives were skirted and completely bypassed for four years, and the Head over there (same guy) told his people they needed to assist on a “sensitive” subject.

If they’re not flipping bit players, it’s a Fake Investigation.

We saw it with Huber, Durham, Hunter, and Joe.

Biden’s Private Lawyers told the FBi where they could look.

That’s not a Raid nor a search.

Cooperation has always been factored during Sentencing, has nothing to do with Gulit or innocence.

Statutes don’t care about Corvette’s, diplomacy and pleasantries.

The responsiveness is totally a Media construct, like Collusion.

By the time of the GW Bush admin it was clear the AP was another Democratic Party media venue, and they almost never fail to repeat the Dim’s or the Left’s narrative and agendas, pretending to be “news”.

Durbin: "how any individual senator can take possession of a classified document, let alone remove it to another location,” Durbin said. “It's just unthinkable"

No dice, ijit. Consistent illegal realities that manifest in many instances over decades are not only thinkable, but have become a well-oiled machine of corruption. A lot of thinking needs to chase after such crimes and corruption.

This self-evidently has been able to be done by a guy like Biden for decades will avoiding all legal culpability. All custodians that would have been in place in Joe's proximity for those decades must be questioned. There lie crimes yet undiscovered for good detectives and prosecutors.

As for Durbin, Occam's Razor explains his feigned ignorance as lies and corruption.

Expensive personal lawyers doing these document moves are not merely expensive, but they're obviously a feature designed to avoid further law enforcement culpability, even though Xiao is already on the hook for causing sensitive national security information to be exposed to many people not properly cleared to handle them.

Using personal lawyers normally keeps those exposed to sensitive information from testifying against the employer, but we certainly saw that breached with Trump's use of Attys. Cohen and Avennati. Why was that? Because there was involvement of criminal behavior, just as there is with these Biden lawyers and their processing classified materials for which they had improper clearances, if any.

People might do illegal things when they're well paid to do so and possibly only after being given representations of indemnification. They could have been coerced, through blackmail, perhaps.

Nonetheless, all these document movers, whether lawyers or not should all be interrogated as criminals until they've spilled everything about their employment with Joe.

I think his “lawyers” went to retrieve any documents that could implicate Joe in the Hunter investigation. Possibly the classified docs could be evidence of just that.

OR (I would bet my last dollar Joe Biden is one of the accused, multiple times)

Remember the Congressional Accountability Act of 1995? That’s where members of Congress accused of sexual harassment were allowed to hush up and payoff their accusers from a secret slush fund , funded in full by taxpayers.
The list of names were kept secret and probably considered classified.

Doesn't NARA supposedly keep track of all doc's?

Why didn't they instantly realize an item was missing - even back when Xiden was Senator?

Another corrupt federal entity!

It is always a good practice to let the criminal know two months in advance that you are coming to look for evidence.

” Biden’s decision allowing the FBI to search his home”

Strange...I never read about Trump’s decision to allow a search.

Obviously, security at the Capitol needs to be greatly improved. If Biden as Senator took documents, I would think others did too.

Is the present security afraid to arrest someone, for fear the lawmaker arrested will say, “Don’t you know who I am?” (said by Sheila Jackson Lee many years ago).

In the days after 9/11, I heard someone interviewed - the person had worked in all 3 branches of government and the news media - said that Congressional staffers had the most lax attitudes toward security.

why does it seem this entire Biden document fiasco appear to be stage managed by Biden’s people?? They have been in complete control from day one. Why??

If it was never turned into the National Archives in the first place, it means Biden was attempting to defraud the US Government. If it was stolen and never returned, then that is illegal. Think Sandy Berger....
