No Western powers are threatening Russia itself nor are any Western powers directly fighting against Russia in Ukraine.
It would be like we had announced the annexation of Vietnam and threatened to nuke Moscow when the Soviet Union sent arms. It's ridiculous.

Parts of the Ukraine were part of Russia for over 240 years. It is a Slavic Civil War we have no business being in.
