When you realize that this destruction is purposeful. That this death and killing is foisted upon us by powerful people who want death and monies.
The open border is purposeful to this end. The monies made by the people who keep the borders open and make monies from the drugs is enormous.
These people are being killed by your leaders.
Simple solution really. Free heroin laced with fentanyl. The first dose is the last dose. Then, of course, there would be a shortage of body bags.
Where is “if it saves just one life”?
The phrase “if it saves just one life”, has been used to foster controls on the population numerous times, most frequently applied to gun control laws. Why does it not also apply to strict enforcement of drug laws and immigration laws? Why not mandatory hospitalization or incarceration of the users?
Since it is not, one must assume that the liberals in power in those cities simply do not care about the afflicted individuals, and are willing to simply let them continue until they die.
I beg to differ in one respect. It should be a public hanging. Maybe leave the body up there a few days. Protests? Objections? Hang them too.
Horrible. Most of them appeared to be relatively young white males, with a scattering of youngish white women and middle aged black men.
They’re all doing this because they’re feeling hopeless. The young white men are a self-hating class now and can’t find a future, the younger white women can’t find anybody functional to marry, and the middle age black men stuck me as people who once upon a time would have had jobs and be plugged in to their families…but now have no families and no goals.
Moral of the story? Marriage - between a man and a woman - keeps you sane and plugged in to the real world, and having children for whom you are responsible does so even more.
You can cure addictions, but one of the reasons people don’t stay cured is because our anti-marriage, anti-child, anti-religious society.
Gangs run the drug trade in Philly and the other cities.
Lax policing in the wake of the GF riots have made things worse.

I agree with that. Society needs to buckle down and just do the necessary.
When did the change happen? I’m guessing it was gradual but maybe there were noticeable inflection points.
I recall Trump sayin that he had asked China's Xi Jinping, if China had a drug problem. Xi explained that they had no drug problem and that drug dealers were promptly tried and if found guilty, IMMEDIATELY executed.

So sad. Philadelphia was once such a wonderful city. My parents were born and raised there.
Let me be contrarian, and say that this is good news! I hope a million junkies die this year! Two million dead junkies would be even better! These are mostly worthless people, and we are better off without them. Getting rid of the drug consumer, is one way to win the War on Drugs.
I think of druggies as the same as consumers of kiddie porn. Not victims, but the drivers of the vice. How kewl is it to get them to “off” themselves!
And the “do-gooders” insist that you can’t involuntarily commit these people to a treatment center to receive help. That would be inhumane! It’s best to let them die on the street with a needle in their arm and their pants down around their ankles, while wallowing in their own filth.
Does anyone think if these people were in their right mind, they would choose this way of life? Most of them never realized the decision they were making when they first let someone insert that needle into their arm. For I seriously doubt the majority of them, on the first time they “shot-up”, did it all on their own.
I understand what you are saying, but these are people’s children, siblings, spouses, and parents. It would be hard for me to accept that one of my children was in such a situation and would be heart-breaking.
However, as most of us realize, these people didn’t wake up one day and decide to head to the streets to live a life of waiting for the next fix. They exasperated the patience of every family member, until they were kicked out of the house, or the indulgence of every friend until they were kicked out of the spare room or off their sofa. Many family members have already spent thousands on treatment programs and “bail-outs”. They reached the point they are at by small steps.
Many of them could be brought back by the same small steps, first by stopping enabling them with our tax-dollars. That money could be used for initial detox treatment, even if involuntary (now, it is mostly voluntary, and once the withdrawals kick in, they walk out). Next, by no nonsense treatment in a controlled atmosphere (without the do-gooders), and then by relocation to an area where they would still be monitored and do not know the local drug dealers, and where hard work is the only thing on their schedule. I suspect such a program could save one in ten of the recently arrived street people. Those that have been their for years will probably die on the street corner.
When we as a society decided to coddle the drug addicted and listen to them about what they needed, we did them no favors.
I agree. Involuntary commitment for 6-12 months to dry them out if they’re addicts, longer if they’re nuts.
Give the dealers two weeks notice to cease and desist. Air out anyone who doesn’t.
You are right that these druggies have had multiple chances. They are nothing but narcissists, willing to cause other people all sorts of problems, just to get a personal high. 90% of them, or more, will never amount to a hill of beans, and trying to save that 10% means that 90% of them will still be out there buying drugs and causing pain all around.
So, I think we get out of God’s way and let these a$$holes get what they deserve.
