Democratic Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot suggested Thursday that street vendors stop using cash in order to quell Chicago’s crime spike.

“I heard a lot of rhetoric here, a lot of soundbites, but not a lot of concrete solutions on how we get the job done and make our residents and our workers safe. We’re doing it every single day,” Lightfoot said.

Someone alert the Nobel committee, Lightfoot is sure to win the Peace Prize for stopping violent crime in Chicago once and for all.

All that has to happen if for street vendors to stop using cash.

Portillo’s, a fairly large fast food chain in the Chicago area, stopped the cash option for their drive-thru pickup. They usually have people standing outside taking orders and payments in the line.

Chicago is a horrifying tragedy. Every weekend there are shootings and killings. This tragedy is a direct result of harebrained policies of the Democrat Party and its supporters.

Giving these people the benefit of even the most dubious doubt, they cannot seem to comprehend that good intentions untempered by wisdom and ruthless truth lead inevitably to disaster.

Donald Trump proposed an excellent plan for vitalizing the horrifying, violent and impoverished ghettos of America's inner cities and solving this terrible, heartbreaking problem once and for all.

Democrats opposed this.

Their reasons were obvious:

(1) They hate Donald Trump because they fear and hate truth and anyone who speaks truth, and Donald Trump speaks truth, and truth interferes with their self-serving agenda.

(2) Democrat Politicians do not want any real solution to the problems responsible for America's horrifying, violent and impoverished ghettos because from them they derive enormous wealth and power.

(3) The last thing Democrat Politicians want is for Donald Trump--or anyone who is not their supporter and lackey--and especially anyone who speaks truth--to solve and get credit for solving the problem of America's horrifying, violent and impoverished ghettos.

Yes, this is harsh judgment, but the Democrat Party deserves harsh judgment.
