The US Treasury Department will designate the Russian mercenary organization Wagner Group as a “transnational criminal organization” and will impose additional sanctions next week against the group and its support network across the world, the White House said on Friday.
“These actions recognize the transcontinental threat that Wagner poses, including through its ongoing pattern of serious criminal activity,” National Security Council Coordinator for Strategic Communications John Kirby told reporters on Friday, ahead of the Treasury Department announcement.
Along with the new sanctions, the US has released newly declassified photos of Russian railcars traveling from Russia to North Korea and back in November, in what the US believes was the initial delivery of infantry rockets and missiles for use by the mercenary organization Wagner Group in Ukraine.

I think what happens is not just the US - so if this forehead dude goes to France, he may get grabbed, same with Thailand. Just depends on how far we take it.
Obviously, the Russians can do the same with their allies...and so it’s quite possible that thousands of Americans may never be able to leave the country without fear of being snatched up and sent to Moscow...and getting the Britney Riner treatment.

This is very true, there will be HUGE DAMAGE in relations, far worse than even the Cold War. But the people running this project are on pure emotion, pure hatred (which they had long before Russia attacked last year)...so they simply don’t care.

Correct, not a neighboring state. They are directly invading and attacking America in a number of ways. I saw a report yesterday that travel agencies in China are now running tours to our neighbors to the south and providing information on how to have a cartel help cross the border. The ads they are running make it sound like everything is safe and done in a first class manner.

I am consistent here on FR as I have been for 22 years, regarding Red China. They play the long game. It is totally slow and subtle coopting. It is like 200-year strategy, when the west cannot see past 5 years.
