Certainly seems that way. Everything is off; in some cases, just a slight bit, but in others, it’s so profoundly disturbing that we “accept” it rather than face reality. Here, simply, we have an obviously sick, sick person pretending to be something they’re not (fantasy land) while ruining a child for life. And we as a society are OK with it. This willful departure from truth and celebration of evil is not going unnoticed.
