I do! Bonus round! Settle scores,
no law, no fishing limits, form a militia, shoot zombies, get a harem!
Yeah sh#% in one hand and seek govt assistance in the other and see which gets full first.
I’d be set, except I lost the circular calculator that came with the early copies of “The Effects of Nuclear Weapons” by Gladstone.

Amen
there used to be a nuke depot ~20mi up the lake, it was comforting knowing it’d be a millisecond of bright light and it’s over...
now it’s gone, damn
Civil Defense use’t to would help your local government with every aspect of nuclear preparedness when duck and cover was prescribed.
“Or, you could join the “Ground Zero Clhb” and embrace your morality!”
Lawn chairs, coolers, sunglasses a Panama hat. Go out cheezy with Jimmy Buffet and the Coral Reefers on the stereo...
Distance and Shielding is the standard response. But personally I would rather be at ground zero for the millisecond light show. I watched The Day After too many times and after a long military career in Emergency Actions (basically command, control and execution of nuclear weapons) I feel the lucky folks will be with me at ground zero.
Because it will be a sheet of glass
You do realize it will be the same here, correct? The FR “Russia!, Russia!, Russia!” brigade is suffering from a “strong delusion”, seemingly eager to march in lockstep to destruction. I’ve never seen something so dangerously illogical before from our own side (the Left excels at illogic, however, and they’re as eager to see the world explode as are the suddenly emotion-driven FR “Russia!” obsessives). When your fellow travelers are the radical leftists and Davos globalists, you’re doing it wrong.
Who makes those desks in adult size?
I always thought that advice was useless. If you’re looking in the direction of the blast, by the time you see the flash it’s already too late.
I’m in the mountains east of Albuquerque. I’m also 6 miles east of the KUMMSC (look it up), ain’t enough SPF to deal with that.
Hahaha this year I just reached that break even point where it’s cheaper for me to get the lifetime fishing license fresh/salt & tròut, rather than another annual so I just got my lifetime license.
Protect yourself from nuclear attack essentially as you would a tornado.
I hope that I can avoid a nuclear attack by staying well away from Washington D.C.
“LOL, i still remember getting under my desk at school...”
I hadn’t thought about that for years.
I remember the yellow fallout shelter signs everywhere. I knew the janitors at my school and they let me explore the sub basement shelter stocked with barrels of supplies and equipment.
Surreal...
