It is very very very very rare that a powerful weapon will kill you. It’s the operators of those weapons that you have to look out for and the city of Chicago should be doing something about.

Where in the Constitution does it say people must live in fear of powerful weapons?

It says tyrants must live in fear of powerful weapons.

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State...

Hoplophobes need not apply:

hoplophobia
n. Irrational, morbid fear of guns (coined by Col. Jeff Cooper, from the Greek “hoplites,” weapon). May cause sweating, faintness, discomfort, rapid pulse, nausea, sleeplessness, more, at mere thought of guns. Hoplophobes are common and should never be involved in setting gun policies. Point out hoplophobic behavior when noticed, it is dangerous, sufferers deserve pity, and should seek treatment. When confronted, hoplophobes typically go into denial, a common characteristic of the affliction. Often helped by training, or by coaching at a range, a process known to psychiatry as “desensitization,” often useful in treating many phobias. Also: Hoplophobe, hoplophobic.

Powerful, high-powered, tactical, weapons of war, assault, automatic (when really semiautomatic). Iโ€™m scared, whereโ€™s my face diaper?

We shouldn’t have to live I. Fear of them, that is why the second amendment was created- to affirm our right to self protection! There will always be powerful weapons- the second amendment is our confirmation that our Inalienable rights allow us the right to fight back. We don’t have to be helpless victims! We can be proactive in our own defence!

The Constitution mandates that the GOVERNMENT live in fear of people with powerful weapons.

"No, why?"

Because it's killing me!

Where in the Constitution does it say people must live in fear of powerful weapons?

Interim Managing Editor: Dave Newbart; Deputy Managing Editor, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion/Administration & Planning: Norman Parish; Politics Editor: Scott Fornek

Looks like one of these jokers has their HUTA. Obviously the editorial staff has not clue how to read or understand the Constitution.

The problem is many well-meaning Americans also don't understand the Constitution, a purposeful result of the Left eliminating the Constitution and the Bible from primary education.

Quiz: Who can tell exactly what is constitutionally incorrect about the statement in the header?

Meaningless.

Fear is a voluntary position. The Constitution can do nothing about it. You can fear voting too, so what.

As I believe Justice Thomas said, the decision as to whether or not it was safe for ordinary people to own firearms was made in 1791.

Where does it say that downstate farmers and other rural residents must live subject to the whims and phobias of the urban/suburban professional-managerial class?
