You might try to get the moderator to fix the year in the headline.

I live in Indiana. I’m a hard no on Daniels or Pence for anything.

The soft, gooey, Buick Republicanism represented by perpetual losers like Mitt Romney and zero-for-five RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel
My old Buick Roadmaster (wherever it is now) is offended by that statement.

Tuesday on FNC’s “Fox & Friends,” Rep. Jim Banks (R-IN) revealed he would be seeking a seat in the U.S. Senate in 2024.
Partial transcript as follows: KILMEADE: Meanwhile, Congressman, you are Congressman Jim Banks, but you feel as though you want a career change.
Mike Braun is going to run for governor for Indiana. What has that prompted you to say – to say today?
BANKS: Well, Brian, it’s not about me, it’s about the great state of Indiana. And I’ve had the incredible opportunity to serve in the House of Representatives for northeast Indiana the past six years...

Not sure if you’re being sarcastic. But the year is intended by the author.

I think that was purposeful by Schlichter.

I have always thought that Mitch Daniels was a democrat. Always. Now I know why. (I didn’t live in Indiana until recently.)

Just saw Congressman Jim Banks (R-IN) on WarRoom this morning and he was announcing that he is running for the Senate seat in IN, being vacated by Mike Braun.

Roadmaster is clearly racist. Every one of them should be crushed. I’m triggered because that name reminds me of black chain gangs doing road work. /s

The author describes circa 2004 perfectly as the era of soft, gooey mediocrity and Republican big government platitudes. We did not know it then, but recent events have brought that into sharp contrast.

Boiler Up for Mitch as President of Purdue - he froze tuition for more than 10 years.
But hammer down as a senator - not a hard conservative.

Ditch this Mitch as well. Remember Daniels entered the Presidential race and lasted about a week, there was SOME DIRTY LAUNDRY THERE that needs to stay in the hamper!

Mitch Daniels did a good job as president of Purdue. He should just retire quietly and stay out of politics.
