In August 2021, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) gave emergency authorization to the new booster shot called “bivalent.”
The new vaccine contains two messenger RNA (mRNA) components of the coronavirus. Half of the vaccine targets the original strain, and the other half targets the BA.4 and BA.5 Omicron subvariant lineages.
The new COVID boosters were not tested on humans at the time, only on mice. FDA was only relying on the mice trial data.
The CDC panel then voted to recommend the shots for people over the age of 12 and for children as young as 5 to 11.
“Since children have gone back to school in person and people are resuming pre-pandemic behaviors and activities, there is the potential for increased risk of exposure to the virus that causes COVID-19. Vaccination remains the most effective measure to prevent the severe consequences of COVID-19, including hospitalization and death,” said Peter Marks, M.D., Ph.D.
“While it has largely been the case that COVID-19 tends to be less severe in children than adults, as the various waves of COVID-19 have occurred, more children have gotten sick with the disease and have been hospitalized. Children may also experience long-term effects, even following initially mild disease. We encourage parents to consider primary vaccination for children and follow-up with an updated booster dose when eligible,” he added.
However, two independent studies conducted by scientists from Columbia University in New York City and Harvard University found that the new boosters did not produce a better antibody response in humans against BA.5 than the first-generation vaccines.
They compared samples from 21 patients in the Columbia research and 18 people in the Harvard study who received the new boosters to people who received the old vaccine as their fourth shot.

Everyone involved with the vaccines is lying. So it looks like these “experts” are hopelessly naive. No, strike that. They are probably lying about being outraged. That would make more sense.

This is just too funny. A lot of us knew all along that the shot was cr@p. I guess the evidence is just too overwhelming for the CDC to cover it up anymore.

Part B: Additional Remedies -
Sets forth procedures under which the person who filed a petition for compensation under the program may elect to file a civil action for damages. Provides that no vaccine manufacturer shall be liable in a civil action for damages arising from a vaccine-related injury or death: (1) resulting from unavoidable side effects; or (2) solely due to the manufacturer's failure to provide direct warnings. Provides that a manufacturer may be held liable where: (1) such manufacturer engaged in the fraudulent or intentional withholding of information; or (2) such manufacturer failed to exercise due care. Permits punitive damages in such civil actions under certain circumstances.

The BA.4 and BA.5 variants were only tested on mice but the BA.1 variant, which was tested on humans, only differs by 4 nucleotides from the BA.4,5. This is not a significant difference in terms of the actual efficacy and safety of the human tested bi-valent booster.
This is an amazing story, only half told so far.
The herd-like promotion of the vaccines, treating unequal risk groups equally, is easy to understand as bureaucratic “follow the leader”.
And the beginnings, in December 2020, are easy to understand based on overgeneralization of the Pfizer and Moderna Phase II results.
What is hard to understand, and becoming very hard to understand, is the persistent pressure from the top to treat these vaccines as if most of the data collected since launch does not exist.
For example: Who decided that licensing down to 6 months of age would be desirable?
The leadership - the very top leadership - of the public health and international (Western) political establishments were spooked by something about the virus that has not been revealed or discovered yet, and their continued fidelity to age-and sex-unrestricted population vaccination makes it look to me like they are still running scared.

It found that 1.9% of the study participants who received the original booster became infected. Among those who got the updated bivalent vaccine – the one that scientists hoped would work better – a higher percentage, 3.2%, became infected. Both versions of the shot were found to be safe.
