Given the CDC's own source that about one percent of a population dies off each year "normally," 1.4 billion Chinese would expect about 140 MILLION to die each year.

Compare 140 million / 12 for a monthly estimate, and the number is over 11 million a month. Compare that "normal" with the Wall Street Journal's "authorities say" number of a far smaller "panic" number.

The funniest part of this news posted is the phrase, "China says." So they were liars before and are not now? Or the Wall Street Journal has some investment in the public perception of these lying yet trustworthy sources?
