Emergency patients across the country are forced to endure the longest average waiting times in recorded history - with ambulances sent to people suffering conditions like heart attacks and strokes taking more than an hour and a half.
Average ambulance response times in England last month were the longest on record - as more than half of people at major A&Es had to wait longer than four hours for the first time since records began in 2011.
The latest NHS England figures also showed a total of 50.4% of patients attending major A&E departments were not seen within the target time of four hours.
That is 4.9% worse than November and 19% worse than the equivalent month pre-pandemic, in December 2019.

By way of comparison, I had to call an ambulance (Central Texas) about a year or so ago. It was here in 5 minutes.
In Britain *everyone* has the right to healthcare that’s delivered weeks...or months...too late.
You won't find that in Britain...Canada...or many other places.
UK is toast. I used to blame it all on the everyday people. I know now that it is governments that elect themselves and the people have no real say.
UK, actual natural born Brits are a dying out breed being overtaken by invaders allowed in by government.

Every time I hear about socialized medicine and how expensive our healthcare is in the U.S., I think about my heart attack. An ambulance was at my house, in the country, not city, in minutes. When I got to the hospital a small army of doctors and nurses, including a very good cardiologist, were standing there waiting for me. In a very short time I had the blockage cleared, a stent inserted, and was basically fine. Doesn’t sound like that would have happened in the UK and I would be dead.

I have watched the browning of America like everyone else. Your comment about being overtaken is offensive to me. Nobody forced white America to have so few kids that the population of this country would be shrinking if it were not for immigration.

The white birth rate is now 1.55 children per woman. You need a birth rate of 2.1 just to stay even. If native born Americans prefer vacations and luxury items over children, so be it. Please don’t whine about being overtaken tho.
Don’t get offended, I know of more than a few who can’t get pregnant due to low sperm or other fertility problems. I find it offensive that someone would think everyone is being selfish when many want kids but cannot have them.
The question is why are these fertility problems such a big issue now. What has changed?

Here in the US, they show up and then do NOTHING except DELAY your trip to the hospital where you can actually get the help you need from health care “professionals”, not wannabees.

I have no knowledge if infertility is getting worse or not as time goes on. But I do know there have been over 60 million abortions since roe v. wade. I know the black demo is much more likely to have abortions, but I’m going to guesstimate 40 million of those were white babies. There, that’s why you feel this country is being “over taken”. it’s self inflicted by white america on white america.

I was a volunteer EMT for more than 20 years and even in rural areas typical response times were in minutes not anywhere near one hour. Perhaps the Brits should dump the government system and run their own community ambulance services with volunteers.i
