Anyone who takes even a cursory look at the news – regardless the source – has to be aware of fentanyl – the latest of the killer drugs assaulting our society. It wasn't too long ago that virtually no one had ever heard of it. Now, it seems to be everywhere, and from what we are told, it is a killer of staggering proportions.
Fentanyl is a synthetic opioid that is said to be 50 times more potent than heroin. While the drug is found in all states, California is particularly hard hit, and the source, it appears, is movement of the drug across the border from Mexico, with Interstate 5 being a main trafficking route.
Authorities believe the original source of the drug is China, and there seems to be no limit to the quantity that ends up in the U.S. There is no information available as to whether our government has had any contact with China about this movement of the drug.
In a recent report from California Gov. Gavin Newsom, law enforcement, just in California this year, seized 28,765 pounds of the drug. According to Newsom, that's enough to kill the entire of population of North America, TWICE!

I still don’t think we should die on this hill.
I remember it from the 2002 Moscow Theater Hostage Crisis. The gas that was released into the theater to knock out the hostage takers was Fentanyl vapor, or that of a Fentanyl derivative. That was (I think) the first time I heard of it.
People in government are making money
We have nothing to fear but the common cold itself.
Fentanyl is reportedly pouring over our porous southern border.

Death penalty for trafficking, distributing or selling it. No appeals and no 30 years in prison before getting around to it. Make it a federal crime and execute the criminal in prime time.

So what if contact was made? The very most the ChiComs would do is look concerned and make empty promises. Those guys love what fentanyl is doing to the United States, and they want it to continue.
It’s the modern equivalent of catapulting a diseased animal carcass into a besieged city.
There is a good book out on the history of both Valium and OxyContin. Most don’t know of the one billionaire family that owned both drugs.

True or not the fact is it's defiantly killing those who do drugs - an even some who don't that come in contact with it. It's chilling to think this is in the hands of people who could just as easily drop it in a grocery store and taint veggies and fruit. he crazies out there have no regard for the public.
The potential for this to be a WMD…is staggering.
It is already a murder weapon.
Quite probably many “OD” victims are actually murdered.
A public poisoning would require only dusting public areas with this substance.
Or on currency
Public areas at subways, rail, airlines
School playgrounds
Sports arenas
Anywhere
Yet Biden and Dems leave the border wide open. Killers.
That is my biggest concern, given some cases of it seeming to be deliberately disguised.
I just don’t know if that was to poison children, or sneak it past sniffers.
