The Chinese government propaganda newspaper Global Times on Thursday compared the ongoing procedure to select a speaker of the House of Representatives in the U.S. Congress to the January 6, 2021, Capitol riot, accusing the “electoralization” of choosing party leadership of causing chaos.
The lower chamber of Congress has spent the week without a leader; Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), presumed to be the next speaker after Republicans secured control of the House via November’s midterm elections, lost six consecutive votes as a result of a group of about 20 Republicans refusing to support him. The House is expected to reconvene on Thursday afternoon to debate and hold at least one more vote for the position.

As expected.
Yes, in China, whenever the CCP has a national congress everything is decided behind closed doors ahead of time by the biggest party leaders and the only thing the CCP party congress has to do is listen to speeches and rubber stamp what the top party officials have already decided.
Communists hate democracy because there is no guarantee your group will win.
OK, Let’s the Chinese Police from NY or where ever to come down and arrest all the Rioting congressmen and lock them up.
I’ll bet China has some really tight, silent, and secret lock-ups right here in the US.

China? Sounds like congress under Biden.

Worried CCP ?
Good.
If we don’t give a rip what kev says, you cam be sure we don’t give a rip what CCP thinks, or any Communist for that matter.
China is correct, both were miniscule in significance.
So. Who gives a flying fig what they think.
So it appears that China is on board with McCarthy?
You sclatch my back, I sclatch your back!
Probably. Maybe they also have lousy translators, because McCarthy would probably be a lot more sympathetic to them than the folks who are trying to oust him (agree with them or not).
China lives in its own world and I think it’s really hard for them to figure out what’s going on beyond their Great Wall.
Who was the fool in that picture?
China has every right to criticize our political system — they own the CIC.
If the Chinese don’t like him he just might be the right guy.
Do you want him as Speaker, or President, because he can't do both.
If China is against McCarthy they must be afraid of him becoming speaker.
Who with a sane mind gives a Rat’s A$$ how the Chicoms feel about us.

Maybe, if we do not have a speaker for two years:
No debt limit increase
No money for the Ukes/Deep State
No money for any green new deals
No money for new and old illegals
No money from the ChiComs to bribe a Congressit!
So, why should we fret/worry/care if the members of the 118th Congress can’t be sworn in:
Then, no midnight spending deals and no secret deals with Biden’s Deep State Puppet Masters, the ChiComs!
If Members of the 118th Congress can’t be sworn in, the House can’t set rules to govern itself, and it can’t Why should we care if: No spending and no deals with Biden!
The House is in limbo until it elects a speaker.
Members of the 118th Congress can’t be sworn in, the House can’t set rules to govern itself, and it can’t consider legislation or create committee assignments.
That sounds like good news to many of us.
House Republicans have pledged to unleash a slew of investigations, including some targeting President Biden — all of which would be on pause until a speaker is elected.
What to watch: House GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy’s speakership bid failed a fourth and fifth time on Wednesday.
On Tuesday, the California Republican said: “I don’t have a problem getting a record for the most votes for speaker.”
Flashback: It took two months — and 133 ballots — for the House to elect its speaker in 1856.
The last time the House has needed more than one ballot to confirm a speaker was 1923.

The longest House speaker election in history spanned two months and took 133 ballots — providing a warning sign for the 118th Congress.consider legislation or create committee assignments.
As taxpayers and not members of Congress, we win everyday without a speaker and congress!
So McCarthy gets the big juicy kiss on the mouth seal of approval
from the CCP?
LOL
Well that was pretty apparent when Mitch backed him.
What are China's FR nicks?
