What I find interesting is conservatives have always been told by the RINOs to suck it up for the good of the party. Now it’s their turn and their guy McCarthy should go for the good of the party.
Will he?
question: when was the last time mccarthy did anything for the good of the party?
just askin'
Trump got around 45% of the primary vote in 2016, but more than 90% of Republicans voted for him in the general election. Why? Because we all realize that the Republican, even if not our preferred candidate, is still going to be better than the Democrat.
But now, it appears the reverse is happening. McCarthy was the overwhelming winner of the caucus vote - it wasn't even close. But, the members of the caucus who lost that vote are now taking the Bush/Cheney approach from 2016 and 2020, and trying to sabotage the party's chosen representative.
I didn't like it when they did it, and I don't like it now.
