Kari Lake has been vocal about contesting the results of the 2022 gubernatorial election in Arizona. Now her case is going to trial.

Last week Kari Lake appeared in virtual court alongside representatives for Governor-elect Katie Hobbs and other election officials.
The emergency hearing was ordered on Monday by Judge Peter A. Thompson of the Arizona Superior Court in Maricopa County, and marks the latest development in the lawsuit filed by Lake contesting the results of the 2022 General Election, according to the Arizona Sun Times.
Speaking in reference to Election Day in Arizona at TPUSA hours before the news of her case going to trial, Lake said that there are currently "sham elections" being run by "fraudsters like Bill Gates."
"They corrupted our elections on November 8, and they did it in broad daylight. They couldn’t just do it in the dark of night because our movement is so massive. The corruption stands right here before us in Maricopa County."
Lake said that they built a "house of cards" in Maricopa County, and that she’s not just going to knock the cards down, "we’re gonna burn it to the ground."
"They messed with the wrong woman," Lake added. "They messed with the wrong movement of we the people and we’re not going to take it anymore."
Earlier in her speech, Lake told the crowd that "my pronouns are I/won."
"God put us here at this pivotal moment in American history," said Lake. "He put us here at this pivotal moment in human history to fight for the promise that our forefathers died for, the promise of a nation that is free from tyranny and oppression, and we’re not going backward because I’m not willing to go backward. We are heading toward freedom."

Could be interesting. I could see, in other circumstances, Hobbs just testifying, “I don’t know nothing about these elections. I’m just a candidate.” But that goes out the window when you are the Secretary of State in charge of elections. She may have some ‘splaining to do.
9,327 times the Hobbs team objects to lines of questions from the Lake team in the first week. 9,327 times the judge grants the objections.

The unmentioned good news is that now Lake can proceed to the discovery phase of this trial. She can get her hands on ballots, signature verification data, ballot printer service logs, tranches of late breaking ballots for Hobbs........
The fit will hit the shan.
Hobbs is going to testify? She couldn’t even debate.

This may well be the first time such a case has been heard on its merits.
Glad to hear this. This was such a totally blatant steal, not an election. How can a secretary of state who herself is a candidate not recuse herself? A candidate in charge of an election is beyond ridiculous. What about the 59% of voting machines not functioning in heavily Republican areas? What about the bundles of ballots suddenly “found” after the fact? This is all documented. I just hope they get a non-Soros-tainted judge and jury.
