Total insanity. The losing side will start throwing nukes as they have nothing to lose. It would start with tactical nukes from Russia as they would lose a conventional war.
We would respond, and soon it would be all out nuclear war.

More likely the other way around, since we’ve disposed of most of our conventional weapons in Ukraine and it will be 3 years before significant quantities are replaced (and then only if China is in a good mood).

Why should Russia lose conventionally? Did you count how many tanks NATO has? Are they going to fight Russia with light infantry? Check out what is happening to the Ukrainian troops.
