No.

I never had an opportunity to go to Machu Picchu.

I’ve only been there “virtually” also.

Hopefully, some day.

Interesting that civilizations like the Incas existed in several places around the globe, and that all seemed to build pyramids of similar nature, but of the step nature rather than with smooth sides. I believe that style only showed up in Egypt.

While I do not believe in aliens from outer space, I do believe the human species existence has been one of ebb & rise due to natural catastrophes that adversely affected the planet along with mankind in the process.

I mean when you look at places like Hadrian's villa built around 120 AD, humans were a very advanced species even then. Which predates the Incas by about 1,200 years. Most people today are probably are unaware of what the capabilities humans were capable of almost 2,000 years ago, and evidence shows that their abilities extended back even further. Greek architecture goes back 500 years before Christ was born. They built elegant structures, and remnants of them still exist for us to marvel over to this day. It could well have occurred way before that but the evidence of them have finally succumbed to the elements of nature.

I'm just glad we have the ability to be able to take virtual tours. Not sure I could get around them now anyway.

Perhaps some day we will learn the truth huh. 🙂
