The only people who were offended by that are people who are too dumb to have a sense of humor. Even if that were true...so what? People who have no "sense of humor" (as you are defining it) still get to vote, and their vote counts just as much as does yours. So whether you agree with the reasons they vote the way they do or not...you've still lost those votes.

By the way, I'll add that Trump's comment didn't offend me. But it did convince me that he would do anything he can, and tear down anyone else he needs along the way no matter who they are, to get elected. And I don't want someone like that at the head of the GOP ticket. Not only because they'll lose, but because they won't be able to accomplish squat even if they do get elected.
