This is a very small, partial victory.

It still sends the message to certain minorities that they can create public chaos and, if confronted by police, drag them to court.

And it sends the message to the police that, if they do their jobs in trying to quell such chaos, they will suffer the consequences.

Broward has a substantial population of both affluent white Republicans near the coast and white middle and working class types inland who have no liking for racial agitation even if they vote Democratic. The apparent lack of significant injury to the supposed victim must have also worked against the prosecution. In addition, the disruption and intimidation caused by the BLM demonstrations near the Broward Public Library and other nearby government offices cannot have gone down well with the general public or the workers in those offices.

What happened -— A female BLM protestor (dumbass twat) was minorly shoved by a cop and wanted a payout. She lost. Her lawyers wasted his unpaid time.

In the process this Ft Lauderdale officer has been suspended for two years. His life has been in limbo due to this female bum, With pay or suspended without pay? He will be reinstated and will collect any back pay due him.

Republicans have made gains in Broward but still heavily outnumbered by RATs. Lots of Trump flags in areas like Lighthouse point. Inland places like Plantation, Coral Springs, Parkland an Coconut Creek still solid RAT. Let’s see what happens next election.

My experience has been that for Republicans, a combination of good party organization and leadership, good candidates, and good campaigns can make a great difference. Unfortunately, that tends to be a rare thing.
