Sen. Mitt Romney (R-UT) said Thursday he would not support former President Donald Trump if he were to become the Republican nominee for president in 2024.
“Absolutely not,” Romney told a reporter during an event on climate change in Washington, D.C. “Look, I voted to remove him from office twice.”
“And it’s not just because he loses,” the senator said of his refusal to support Trump. “That’s my reason that I offer to other people who are big fans of his. But it’s also [that] he’s simply not a person who ought to have the reins of the government of the United States.”

I will absolutely not support Romney if he runs.
In fact I don’t support him as Senator and want him banned from the party outright.
He is trying so hard to stay relevant, and I’m sorry I ever voted for that jackass in 2012. Trump is going to be 80 years old by 2024, and although I voted for him twice, I’m tired of his constant pandering. I’m not sure about DeSantis, either, because I want to really see someone put the U.S. first. In everything.
Really, Mitt, tell us why you wouldn’t support President Trump??

Remember when Rush said Harry Reid had to be lying about Romney not paying taxes? And all of us conservatives reflexively agreed with Rush, because Romney was the Republican presidential nominee , and it is our duty to believe that Republicans are always rights and Democrats like Reid are always wrong?
Well, I have evolved to no longer automatically assuming any Republican must be defended and any Democrat must be disbelieved. For all I know - and for all Rush knew - Reid may have been right about Romney. I have no reason to believe Romney is most trustworthy than Harry Reid.
Romney needs to suffer a fatal heart attack or stroke. Hear me Azreal? Do your damn job...
