It’s not “medically necessary” health care.
So when all these people want to sue the hospital later, can they just skip the middleman and go and sue the ACLU?
True.
Maybe the ACLU can open up a “hospital”. The only thing it does is butcher born and unborn people.
This (possibly fictional) 19 year old fellow who wants gender reassignment surgery should think about it: why would you want to turn your body over to be strategically sliced and diced by surgeons who do not approve of these procedures and don’t want to perform them for anyone?
This is not just getting your ears pierced.
There is more to life that just ‘being legally right’. The surgeons are human, not fancy robots that rarely make any mistakes. There is going to be an ever present level of tension during his treatment.
This is totally ridiculous.
It reminds me of lobotomy procedure. Totally assenine.
I don’t think anyone (other than the victims) ever paid for it.
What laws apply that would require hospitals to perform such elective surgery??
Another government organ being used against Americans. In this case, ruining the lives of the mentally ill. The solution is to eliminate the Dept. of Health. I know I can live quite fine without any DoH at any level of government. This is a textbook example of how to cut spending and deweaponizing government. Anyways, we are broke and we can’t afford it.

The mutilations will continue until they are accepted and even desired. A nation against God.
There was a time when the ACLU defended the rights of both Nazis and Communists. Many,including me,would argue that neither group should be defended. But today they only defend the Communists.
