Sen. Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ) has announced she has left the Democrats and is registering as an independent senator.

Sinema made the announcement Friday morning by publishing an op-ed in the Arizona Republic.

The senator blasted the increasingly partisan interests and radicalization of the Democratic Party as the reason for her departure.

She suggested that she had felt under pressure to “demonize people” as a member of the Democrats.

Sinema continued by explaining that such divisive tactics are causing lawmakers to become “distracted by political drama.”

In her op-ed, Sinema explains that she decided to become an independent as her moderate views don’t align with the major political parties.

“Americans are told that we have only two choices – Democrat or Republican – and that we must subscribe wholesale to policy views the parties hold, views that have been pulled further and further toward the extremes,” Synema wrote.

“Most Arizonans believe this is a false choice, and when I ran for the U.S. House and the Senate, I promised Arizonans something different,” she continued.

“I pledged to be independent and work with anyone to achieve lasting results.

Now she's done it. She'll never get to go to the ladies' room in the Capitol again. Prepare to be demonized, Kyrsten.

If she doesn’t caucus with the dems, that puts the GOP at a 50-49 advantage through the lame-duck session.

I’m sure she’ll caucus with the Dems. All the “independents” do.

So they’ll have to keep carting out Kamala and putting up with her...eccentricities. Make them pay for what they’re doing.

I read in the Daily Mail that she's expected to continue caucusing with the Dems.

Even so, it's a plus. She's shifted away from the Dems despite their increasing their hold on the Senate and their hold on Arizona elections (even if only by fraud).

She's shifting away from the Dems despite the Dems increasing in power. Interesting.

She and Manchin are just headfakes for commie/dem/progs.

However, until she votes on the republican side and not the Commies side, means nothing. That happened to our Senator that just retired, the one that Coach Tommy won the seat. Until that happens, here CHOICES, remain in the Commies voting block!!

Look on the bright side. Their edifice is crumbling. The fact that it hasn’t completely collapsed yet does not mean this is insignificant.

Yup—she has no clue what true lefty demonization is—yet.

Antifa is the terrorist wing of the Democratic Party.

She is about to find out—the hard way.

Manchin ought to follow her lead and leave the Democrats too. The Democrats are an elite coastal party that holds the average West Virginian in utter contempt. The Democrats hate the coal industry for crying out loud.
