Beyond lawmaking power, two other (often contentious) aspects of sovereignty are eminent domain (the right of the sovereign to take private property for public use) and sovereign immunity(which offers the sovereign protection from lawsuits).
Well since the President signs a bill into Law, then the President has sovereign power, correct President Trump.
The fact that Congress is hiding potentially exculpatory evidence should weigh heavily on all Jan 6 prosecutions

Sounds like the South African guy in Leathal Weapon 2 claiming “Diplomatic Immunity” to which Danny Glover’s character replies “has just been revoked”. We should do the same to Congress.
