Hannity: Republicans Need to Improve Upon Playing the ‘Ballot Game’ Before 2024 – ‘It’s Obvious’
Breitbart ^ | 12/08/2022 | Jeff Poor

Posted on 12/08/2022 6:27:41 AM PST by ChicagoConservative27

Wednesday, on the heels of Georgia Democrat Sen. Raphael Warnock’s victory over Republican nominee Herschel Walker on Tuesday, FNC host Sean Hannity warned of a bleak future for the GOP if it did not address early voting and mail-in ballots.

The Fox News host said Republicans needed to have “a sense of urgency” to improve on those tactics before the election in November 2024.

The GOP needs to stop waiting

and whining. See post # 100 which is about CA GOP actually fighting back and Long Island NY flipping red for reasons unknown to me.

I admit to being callous in regard to electioneering, based on campaign experience in the SF Bay Area prog black hole. We won a few big battles, just a few, by dint of around the clock drudgery. Now comes the salient point...we employed prog tactics, short of fraud. Fear, ridicule, ad hominem attacks etc...sad to say they work...

But I don't think the typical GOP pol is ever going there...Besides, receiving death threats from progs over the phone late at night can make a decent person wanting to work for a better community drop out of the fray. We never stooped to illegality; they thrived on it while making complaints against us to the state fair political practices gestapo.

I supported Trump in 2016/2020 because he fought, at times below the belt. I will continue my support as long as he remains the premier gut fighter on the scene. Nevertheless, I know millions of suburbanites, inexperienced youth etc. will be lost. And I am increasingly convinced the progs will pretty well hold sway until the disparity of what people need to correct socialist policies and what they are getting from crooked elections shakes them by their complacent necks.

“ Here’s the problem… the parties are changing the purpose of elections. Elections are supposed to be about the people exerting their will. The powers that be are simply making it a numbers game… the will of the people be damned.”

This.

Government of, by and for the people has transformed fully into government of, by and for the government class oligarchy.

America has been so thoroughly perverted that it cannot be restored. At this point it will either complete its path to Marxist dictatorship or it will be essentially destroyed and become non-functional, so that, giving it a positive outlook, something more like it’s original envisioning can be built from the rubble.

"Well duh Sean."

No. Not duh. This is why Hannity is always wrong, despite that smug self-congratulatory look on his face for having outlasted BOR, and yet not having completely lost his job to Chatsworth.

Early mail-in ballots are WRONG. They are morally wrong, they are rationally wrong, and they are unconstitutionally wrong. They are void on their face and must NEVER be given credulity by the GOP. NEVER!

Fetterman is THE raison d'etre to eliminate mail-in ballots altogether forever.

His handler's strategy to cover-up his waterhead imbecility, and hand off ONE pre-debate interview to a stoogette who was in on the cover-up, was specifically to build the mail-in ballot lead -- abetted by fraud -- before Fetterman was found out, in the debate, to be a drooling Baby Huey, a freaking real-life orc, but in no way shape or form qualified to be a United States Senator. (In fact, why hasn't someone challenged his lack of capacity to serve as Senator, by the clear evidence from the debate, that Fetterman is non compos mentis to take the Oath of Office!)

Given that 1.2M mail-in ballots were received before Election Day, the ballot edge was absolutely established by the ballots mailed-in before the debate, as there is no restriction on how early you can request a mail-in ballot in PA. Presumably that option to request validates ad hoc shortly after the primary counting is completed. PA's primary was May 17, 2022, so PA probably completed primary counting, oh, say, sometime before Memorial Day JULY. Funny not funny. Sorry not sorry.

Offering ballots 4-5 months before an election is ABSURD and on its face UNCONSTITUTIONAL.

It is simply NOT possible for any voter to make a REASONED decision on ANY candidate HALF A YEAR before a general election.

This is easily one of the best avenues of attack against mail-in ballots, and as I noted above, this will become painfully apparent once Fetterman has another stroke or TIA in his limbic system or cortex or frontal or all of the above, and flips out on his puta wife, and is subsequently incapacitated (and hopefully incarcerated); placing him only about 1 more step down on his awareness ladder from the CPSS stroke scale or any stroke scale you care to name: LAMS, RACE, etc...

The GOP must promote both his removal by impeachment, and mandate the formation of a Special Committee to review and eliminate all Federal election laws that permitted such a travesty like Fetterman to foment in the first place.

"Has he apologized for pushing that carpetbagger Dr. Oz on the Pennsylvania GOP?"

Dude, your tagline says "The steal is real." If the steal is real, what does Oz have to do with it?

Reagan would have been defrauded of a 2nd term in 2020. The problem is that real, and that serious.

Oz was a terrible candidate. His terribleness (if that’s even a word) made the steal so much easier. But I will certainly agree with you in that the GOP’s main problem isn’t candidate quality. It’s voter fraud.

Hannity is a moron, period. I listen to him for maybe 10 minutes a week and he repeats the same thing constantly, that is, when he's not saying the word 'um'. He literally starts every sentence with the word 'um' and inserts into the middle of every...single...sentence

You have a misunderstanding of the American electorate. Conservatives are in the minority at 40%. Like it or not, we only win when we can get an extra 10% of the “squishy voters”. However, these voters are turned off by the firebrands like Boebert and Lake, who we like the most.

We can try to eliminate ballot harvesting in most states. We can shorten early voting and restrict mail in voting, but we will never eliminate these because they are too popular. We can do all this, but we still lose elections if we don’t acknowledge we are only 40% and need a strategy to get the additional 10%.

.

We no longer have elections we have ballot gathering, wasting our time campaigning spending the money on rallies ect. is wasted, that money needs to go to PAY armies of people to get out and collect ballots!! THAT ladies and gentlemen is what our system has come to!! LOOK at Biden and Fetterman they were hidden from the public and 2 mentally ill people were put into office!! They elected a dead person for God’s sake, THAT is the game today like it or not!!!

Ballots are irrelevant except when needed to back up the pre-determined vote totals.

And I’d bet you would have argued to have Washington crowned King.

The meme makes a good point that abandoning reason in order to “win” makes us just as stupid as them, with our “elites” laughing behind our backs.

Then you agree with the Democrats that the “vote” means a warm body and YOUR will.

Good luck using the bottom third of the bell curve trying to hang on to power.

Well, GOTV efforts have always been about encouragement. Elections aren’t won without “boots on the ground” encouraging others to vote (or now, fill out their ballot and turn it in).

> OZ was a terrible candidate compared to Fetterman REALLY?? <

Please don’t jump to conclusions. Go back and take another look at my post. I said that Oz was a terrible candidate, period. I didn’t mention Fetterman at all.

But now let’s bring Fetterman into it. Of course Oz was a better candidate than Fetterman. A million times better. I am very familiar with Braddock, the town Fetterman was the mayor of. I knew Fetterman was a wreck long before most people here even heard of him.

Now here’s the thing. In an election you want a voter to like the R candidate, and dislike the D candidate. That way you get a motivated voter. For example, I like Trump. I dislike Biden. So I was very motivated to vote for Trump in 2020.

For good reason the average PA voter just didn’t like Oz, regardless of what they thought of Fetterman. So half of that formula was already gone.

And then there was the voter fraud, as you mentioned.

You miss the point.

Elections are about get out the vote (GOTV) efforts, yes. One side or the other should motivate their base to do what must be done for the accomplishment of their political priorities.

What we have now goes beyond that... and Sean Hannity thinks we should double-down.

With ballot-harvesting and the tactics employed by the Democrats, we would have to beat them to the nursing homes, homeless shelters, cemeteries and other places where the disaffected don’t have an interest in politics to “harvest” their ballots for our numbers—don’t think it doesn’t happen. If we’re going to try to beat the Democrats at their game rather than rooting out the fraud in our system, elections will no longer be the people expressing their will, they will be cycles for the party machines to outcompete each other in a game of numbers that no longer respects the priorities of the people.

You are equating GOTV with “ballot harvesting” and the stuffing of mail-in ballot boxes. This is disingenuous, at best. Filling out ballots certainly is.

It seems that the “vote” means nothing to you but winning, just like the Democrats.

It did not to the Founders of our republic who understood and accepted limitations on voting. They were trying to find a path to proper government. A monarch is just as valid as “boots on the ground” stuffing ballot boxes.

The Left has an ARMY of welfare recipients all too happy to get some cash for doing the ballot harvesting.

The GOP on the other hand has constituents who work and a local party system that has withered away and is chock full of lazy patronage people on the county dole and not activists who want to get good candidates elected.
