When Nazi killed the handicapped, retarded and mentally ill was called a war crime
Today its called “compassion” ........
I think you are thinking of the 29 y o woman who committed suicide due to an illness. It was reported late last week
Coming soon - it will no longer be an offer, but a mandate.
Her first mistake was relying on the government to install a ramp for her. Our church will build a ramp for anyone who asks it and many of the men in the church will donate the labor to build it.
Yep, the bean counters in the government decided it was cheaper to kill her than to build a ramp.
How generous./s
Imagine the response if they offered MAID to the LGTQP+ crowd after requesting gender affirming care. They would not have to wait 5 years. The government would turn over everything to get to the bottom of that. Go figure. B
Well played Sir!
Five years. Government is in the dictionary under the word “incompetence.” In my county, the rotary club has wheel chair ramps as their major community project. Over the years, they have built thousands for local elderly and disabled residents on fixed incomes.
They have the building process down pat and their crew can have one completed in a weekend (one day only if the weather cooperates and they have a full crew). Local hardware stores are good about donating supplies and churches donate to the wheel chair ramp fund. It is a community endeavor. Government should have never become involved in “charity”.
I like to think that in most areas of the United States this situation (bureaucratic incompetence) would have been remedied though local veteran and civic organizations. In my area it would be the VFW, American Legion and likely the Rotary and Eagles. Getting a ramp up isn’t that tough.
Pathetic.
