Now an appeal to the full circuit and then to the Supreme Court. This decision needs to be overturned, but the US is slowky dying by lawsuits.

The Court cite a case from 1794 (way too old to be relevant) and a case named Cobbledick (obviously requested by Stormy Daniels to troll Trump)

Cool. So the next DoJ following any President can try to fry the previous guy for things he did in office they dint like.

Yup, that’s what the Founders had in mind.

No you stupid twits - the law is clear that a citizen have priority over the government, especially when the government has proven itself corrupted and taking punitive actions and selective law enforcement.

The judges are 100% right.

But at this point the “defense” is allowed to see the affidavit.

In a ruling on Thursday, the 11th US Circuit Court of Appeals reversed a lower court’s order appointing a so-called special master to sort through thousands of documents found at Trump’s home to determine what should be off limits to investigators.

I’m confused...did the DOJ remove “thousands of documents”
or what???

You people are pissing up a rope thinking "ah, Trump's-In-The-Noose-Now #4199".

There are far, far, far too many key players on both sides of the aisle that do NOT want the Unitary Executive shackled in any way, shape or form.

When Bushes and McCrisis aided Cankles and Obama in the Russia Hoax, Poppy (don't forget, Poppy did not croak until 2 years into Trump's presidency) extracted a promise that their goal was to cripple President Trump, not remove him.

And then Nanzi nearly broke that deal.

But actually removing Trump would have set precedent for removing a future Unitary Executive. That would be, in Dana-does-Bush: "Bad, it's bad!".

As declassification has very little stare decisis as a matter of law, there have been a handful of papers speculating what any President's powers are in this regard, and almost all of them printed before this raid, land squarely on the side of Executive Privilege.

But the key here is SCOTUS, and this SCOTUS can't get enough Unitary Executive (if not so much Executive Privilege), Roberts will still thread the needle in favor of Trump.

Why? AGAIN, because failure to do so will set precedent for prosecuting a future -- or perhaps even a retired or soon-to-be retired Democrat/Socialist ex-President."

Even worse is the tax return snatch. They may be allowed to go public with somebody else’s tax return.

More from the ruling (at link):

"In considering these arguments, we are faced with a choice: apply our usual test; drastically expand the availability of equitable jurisdiction for every subject of a search warrant; or carve out an unprecedented exception in our law for former presidents. We choose the first option. So the case must be dismissed."

Read closely:
In a major defeat for former President Donald Trump, a federal appeals court on Thursday halted a third-party review of documents seized from his Mar-a-Lago estate. The ruling removes a major obstacle to the Justice Department’s mishandling of government records from Trump’s time in the White House

Judge Cannon isn’t called the dumbest judge in Florida for no reason! Another total rebuke!

U.S. immigration “law is clear” but nobody is enforcing it.

This ruling will be appealed to the U.S. Supreme Court.

Without that special master I suspect that some extra documents can be inserted into the “investigation.”

There are so many lawsuits going around, but I think in this case, the Master, think his name is Dearie, refused to meet with President Trump AND the DOJ lawyers.

Didn’t read all the details, but I was surprised to read that.

Why not? The Democrats re-wrote the rules for voting in the last few years without any legislative process.
