With regard to the actual incident, this would normally be an automatic and permanent loss of clearance on its own. Of course this dude getting a clearance in the first place with his lifestyle choices would normally be out of the question, so here we are.
90% chance this magically gets pled down to some sort of nothing charge like misdemeanor shoplifting or something... and a further 90% chance the prosecutor manages to "forget" to show up on the day of the trial and the charges get dismissed altogether.
