Thousands of Amazon warehouse workers are staging strikes and walking out of their jobs on Black Friday, pushing for the company to provide better wages and protect the global environment as it produces strong revenue numbers.

Strikes and walkouts are planned for Friday in more than 30 countries as part of the “Make Amazon Pay” campaign. The countries include the United States, India, Australia, Japan and many in Europe.

The website for the campaign states that real wages are dropping for Amazon workers while the company makes record revenues, including $121 billion in the second quarter of this year.

“But instead of supporting its workers, communities and the planet, Amazon is squeezing every last drop it can,” the website states.

Amazon may be making record revenues, but they aren’t making record profits.

“and protect the global environment” “But instead of supporting its workers, communities and the planet,..”

I was not aware Amazon is now responsible for global warming, of excuse me, “climate change”.

You are undoubtedly right. Just as worker’s wages aren’t actually dropping, but are the beneficiaries of Biden’s insane inflation.

I have come to the conclusion that inflation needs to be controlled and small, largely so that congenital liars have less to lie about.

We are about to relive the 70’s as if it’s all new.

The key to Amazon’s growth was that they ran at losses for years, putting every possible penny back into the company. In fact, to this day, Amazon has yet to pay a single dividend back to shareholders.

A TRUE statement which NO ONE has the common sense to pay attention to.

Amazon always had one major flaw in its business model. They have lower real estate costs than traditional retailers with “brick & mortar” stores, but the downside was that they pick up an enormous cost associated with home deliveries that customers of traditional retailers do for free.

I would also add that these online retailers do an awful job of home deliveries. In the last two years I have placed three online orders. They arrived in 11 different shipments … and only FOUR of them were delivered to the correct address.

Businesses are struggling heavily to find willing workers right now, a mass firing wouldn’t end well for Amazon.

We'll be begging for the good times of the Carter years once this fool is done with the country.
