The California judge who sentenced disgraced Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes to more than 11 years in prison last week has recommended that she serve her time in a minimum-security women’s facility.
Holmes, 38, was sentenced to 135 months in prison on Nov. 18 after she was convicted of defrauding investors who backed her bogus blood-testing company.
According to a court filing from last week, Judge Edward Davila of the Northern District of California recommended she serve her sentence at Federal Prison Camp in Bryan, Texas.

Must be a former Dem donor. She certainly gets the best treatment in process while Jan 6 arrestees are imprisoned in solitary to obtain plea bargains of guilty.
I can hardly wait to see President Trump exercise the presidential pardon power for the JAN 6 convicts.

We had one of those minimum security federal prisons in Allenwood Pennsylvania.
It bordered serveral thousand acres of state game lands for hunting in the old Federal Ordnance. My tree stand was right on the prison boundary. The fence was in that bad shape that the cows would get out.
More than once I observed the prisoners in with the hunters, rounding up the cows.
Congress does worse things all the time.

I would think where she spends her years is a Dept. of Corrections call. Judge is a little too interested in the inmate.
Judge Edward Davila is an Obama appointee. Previously, he was a judge on the Santa Clara County Superior Court as a Gray Davis appointee. Nice pedigree, huh.
Her crimes were non-violent so a minimum security prison venue seems reasonable. The howling mob wants to be entertained and they will be abashed at the Final Judgment.
Wonder if she’s on “Meet-an-Inmate” yet?
And she’ll be out in less than two years....

There’s something similar on Eglin AFB, in NW Florida. It’s a place I’d consider committing a crime to get into.
