COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) — The alleged shooter facing possible hate crime charges in the fatal shooting of five people at a Colorado Springs gay nightclub is nonbinary, the suspect’s defense team says in court filings.
In several standard motions filed on behalf of Anderson Lee Aldrich on Tuesday, public defenders refer to the suspect as “Mx. Aldrich,” noting in footnotes that Aldrich, 22, is nonbinary and uses they/them pronouns. The motions deal with issues like unsealing documents and evidence gathering, not Aldrich’s identity and there was no elaboration about it.

Have a great day.
Thus labeling all people with gender malfunctions as mentally defective which I believe true.
I prefer to not pay attention to, or investigate the ins and outs of binary or whatever. Don’t care, never will. Life’s too short.
Maybe his actions were a result of a lovers quarrel or rejection
I would take his preferred pronouns and shove them up his . . . Nope. On reconsideration, not going to give him the pleasure.
I'll grant that as a rule, with one exception in my experience.
Back in the 80's, the sister of a buddy of mine ran a "women's bar" that catered to lesbians but allowed men as guests of patrons as long as we didn't hit on the females. Why would he and I bother to go there?
Simple. That bar had the best pool tables -- by far -- in the city. Big, level, pristine felt, no spilled beer or cigarette ashes, good straight cues, and free. Every other bar's tables were sullied by the college students, a quarter a game, and the cues looked like boomerangs.
We ignored the women (other than those shooting pool with us), no muss, no fuss. Unfortunately the bar had to shut down in the early 2000's as the female clientele became increasingly activist and argumentative.
Leftists ruin everything.
Nonbinary reject the idea that there are 2 genders.
I would probably have vowed the same. The one and only time I entered a strip joint was to "rescue" a bandmate. Our band was playing at a neighborhood club, and at set break he wandered over to a nearby strip joint. When he hadn't showed back up at the start of second set, I went to go get him. Nice "scenery", but I can't imagine trying to concentrate on lining up a pool shot with all the loud noise and distraction, and as you say, the atmosphere was unsavory.
The "women's bar" was much quieter and easy-going, and while the "scenery" was absent, the atmosphere was actually rather pleasant, at least for shooting pool. :-)
In any case, my days of patronizing clubs and bars, whether for pool, music, or camaraderie, are long over. I got my fill in my earlier years, and have no desire to revisit.
