Elon Musk’s Twitter has reinstated the personal account of far-right Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, which was banned in January for violating the platform’s COVID misinformation policies at the time.
Greene’s reinstatement comes after Musk over the weekend reinstated the account of former President Donald Trump, who was banned in the aftermath of the deadly Jan. 6 riots on the Capitol in 2021. Twitter — at the time — feared there was a risk of further incitement to violence if Trump was allowed to remain on the platform. Trump himself has said he won't return to Twitter and as of Monday had not yet tweeted since the reinstatement, although he also hasn't deleted his account.

It’s hard to tell if that will be the case. The Woke/DEI/ESG corporate scum are pulling their ads from Twitter, apparently hoping to either bring it down or bend musk to their corporate scum will. Elon save a ton of money by getting rid of the deadwood.

This is great news. I'm back on Twitter and following people left and right who had been unfairly banned.
I'm still on Truth Social but now that Trump's account is restored, I'm back on Twitter as well.

Whodunit matter one bit.

Corporations doing what the Marxists tell them to do, even though Marxists hate corporations and would happily put them out of business as a matter of course and not just because they support Twitter. Wake up, corporate America.

I'm still waiting for the AP to use "far left". I wish I had access to Nexus and I'd search for the AP using the term "far left". Probably never.

Apple has to think on that one. Elon has real money and he can make a sink on anti-trust if Facebook is allowed to stay on.

Plus Musk is very very rich. Rich men buy rich man toys.
Some rich men buy mansions, yachts, exotic cars, airplanes, wives, to play with.
Elon Musk isn't your average rich man ...
His idea of a "rich man toy" is Twitter ... and he seems to be having a blast playing with it.

I don’t do the Twitter thing but…. If Apple, Google, whatever deleted their Twitter app, my reaction would be “so what”. If I wanted to use Twitter, I’d just use the ‘ole fashioned internet page sign in. Duh…
In general, I prefer staying away from apps and strongly prefer the Brave browser + my VPN for their elevated protections to privacy and such.

I’m that way with most things too. I still use the FR website and not the app.,,. Even all these years. :)

“ President Donald Trump, who was banned in the aftermath of the
deadly Jan. 6 riots on the Capitol in 2021.”
Associated Press continues to be disinformation media. Article never mentioned that the only people who died on January 6 were a female protester shot by a Capitol LEO and a second female protester trampled and refused care until it was too late. .

2 years ago Twitter decided to ban me without reason after Pres. Trump retweeted this clip. For 2 years my reporting has been banned from this platform
Thank you
@elonmusk
for spending 44 billion so independent journalists like myself can no longer be silenced
I am so grateful
