I cant slam political leaders worldwide for congratulating Biden after he was declared the winner. Whether they liked or didn’t like that result it remains in their interest to cultivate a cordial relationship with whoever is in power in the USA. Even the ones who don’t like your own country. Maybe especially the ones who don’t like your own country.

It’s because, traditionally, the Republicans were country club Christian Conservatives. Guess who doesn’t belong to the Christian Conservative Country Clubs.
In my upper class community there is the WASP country club and the Jewish one. They have been here for more than 100 years. There is almost no “mixing.”

And Jews do not like Catholics. There is huge animosity towards Catholics and probably justified, IMO. Catholics have not treated Jews very well historically and it gives the Jewish orthodoxy justification to continue not trusting Christians in general. Evangelicals believe differently.
The Jews lump all Christians into “Catholics.” And many Jews don’t realize that Christ and the apostles were Jews. Jews refer to Jesus as Catholic.

practicing Jews are like me — ORTHODOX. Yes, those orthodox Jews in Brooklyn and Lakewood, NJ that wear the funny hats and walk around pushing strollers on Saturday are the fiercest and staunchest conservatives you will meet.
the demographics are rapidly changing — Anyone who’s lived there life in Rockland County New York or the Catskills can attest to the literal explosion of the orthodox Jewish population.
The secular WW2 generation REFORM jews and their children that all intermarried are the ones you are referring to. Like most of my non-orthodox family, they are quickly disappearing from this earth.
in 25 years (assuming the USA is still standing), a majority of the US Jewish population will be orthodox and conservative by simple mathematics alone:
Orthodox Jews all marry in their teens-twenties and usually have a solid 4-8 kids (and often more then 8)
non-orthodox Jews barely have any children. rarely ever more then 2.
