I recall Fetterman saying in an interview that he believes in second chances for these murderers - but their victims aren't given second chances.

True. Without the death penalty the murderers and the loving family and friends are alive, the latter to suffer.

And the “second chance” Fetterman types give allows them to look forward to killing someone else.
