When trying to understand the Constitution, we should always first start with the main Articles(I, II, III, etc) or the delegated powers, since those set out the limitations of the Constitution.(or its legitimate functions)

You don't think the Constitution is all powerful regardless of whatever law they pass, do you? That's typically a more progressive point of view of how the Supremacy Clause works.

The U.S. Constitution is only "Supreme" in areas where it has been delegated to be supreme.
