Elon Musk has already had a volatile effect after taking control of Twitter, and at least one advertiser - one of Musk's Tesla competitors - has paused advertising on the social media giant to take stock of the situation.
General Motors, which competes with Musk's car company, announced it has 'temporarily paused' it's paid advertising on Twitter.
However, the company said in a statement that they will continue to interact with Twitter's customer care service.

Oh they will just get more fed money for EV or another fed cash infusion like 2007 to save them. All I see when I see GM is “Government Motors.”
I have never seen any advertising on Twitter. And I am there at least once a day. ><>>> I use an ad-blocker called uBlock Origin - A Free, open-source ad content blocker.
GM, dead to me since ‘72.
I only use Twatter for the ads.
“My phone loves to change ... ‘Maudeen’ to ‘Maureen’”
Mine changes my last name to “Nauseated”. And “God” to “good”.
“Why are these companies afraid of free speech?”
If the reason is because they’re competing in the auto industry, pulling ads makes perfect sense to me. If it’s because they approve of stifling conservative speech, then let them lose money for their stupidity.
“Auto correction is my worst enema.”
When posting, I’m glad I kept my two old BlackBerry Classics with tactile keyboards. Can’t use them for phones anymore, but they do connect to the Internet.
Bring Mike Lindell to twitter.
Trump has to return, just to out these woke companies. Government Motors has long been on my do not buy list. Who else wants to join them? Trump can leave Twatter after everyone has their hissy fits.
Their wong
That is about to change drastically.
Reality is hitting our Federal Government and their ability to print. “Play money” is ending.
It’s going to be hell for the Republican congress who will appear to be the adult making necessary fiscal decisions while the Presidency is spending like a teenager with an unlimited credit card,(That is in their parent’s names!)
Looks like Tesla could take up advertising soon.
GM protests free speech…ok…GM must have gotten big bucks from the RATS to go all electric…enjoy your bankruptcy…
We used to be a GM family...
It’s a cycle congress knows well. However, maybe we will get some decent ones who aren’t RINOS that care about more than lining their pockets through deals with lobbyists or “initiatives.”
The US has not cited national security concerns about hundreds of other high profile tech sites being gobbled up and moved overseas over the years. But this one was somehow different. The government wants to disarm us after 245 yrs 'cuz theyPerhaps this really is a
national, uh, GOVERNMENT, security concern?
At no point in history has any government ever wanted its people to be defenseless for any good reason

General Motors is an old age home for retired auto workers, and has a side gig making shitty cars
