The painful story of how John Fetterman arrived at Tuesday night's humiliation
Washington Examiner ^ | 10/27/2022 | Salena Zito, National Political Reporter

EXPORT, Pennsylvania — For the first time in this election cycle, most of the people sitting around the restaurant bar casually watching the debate saw the depth of the effects of the stroke Lt. Gov. John Fetterman suffered in May when he began the debate Tuesday evening with a “good night” as his opening greeting.

It only got worse from there.

For 60 painful minutes, the York native and Harvard graduate, who had made his home in Western Pennsylvania for the last 20 years, struggled vividly with cognitive issues in handling the simplest of questions tossed his way during the debate.

Most of the voters watching had surely seen him speak at small rallies, where he struggled but on the surface seemed OK. But only now were they fully realizing that he was just repeating memorized lines and could not actually comprehend when others tried to converse with him.

Should be a crime.

Someone said the other day that Fetterman’s wife and Biden’s wife should be held to account for thrusting their obviously cognitively diminished husbands into running for high office, because it is apparent they (the wives) did it because of their own craving for power and the limelight.

I don’t agree with the man’s word from politics but on a human level he needs to be at home and rehab and enjoy life.

He will. His wife will take his place eventually, if he fraudulently wins.

He and his Democrat Party controllers care more about power and control than they do about his health.

...whoever does win, there needs to be a serious forensic autopsy of how a confederacy of activism and omission placed the Democratic Party in this position, and why.

Why? This is what they are, this is what they do, and this is what they will continue to do.

Fetterman’s candidacy is proof that the job of Senator is not really all that important. The only thing required is that he vote for the Democrat side when told. He doesn’t have the mental capacity to serve on a committee or draft legislation. He means nothing more than a party line vote.

#3: "but on a human level he needs to be at home and rehab and enjoy life."

First thing he needs to do is quit politics, and get that grotesque lump sawed off of his neck.

Second thing he needs to do is shed all that fat. You can tell by inspection that Fetterman is a ticking health time bomb. That stroke should have been a huge warning.

The mass media covering up for Democrat’s health issues goes all the way to Woodrow Wilson (stroke) and FDR (couldn’t stand or walk).

They have earned their reputation for blatant lying and covering up to support their favorite politicians.

No scrutiny, no curiosity, complete credulity. The 3 big sins in journalism, all embraced willingly by the enablers.

I’m extremely happy about the ‘Fetterman Massacre’ the other night.

Especially after hearing how bad a candidate Oz is ad nauseam, since the end of the Pennsylvania Republican Primary.

I for one have said that and if you talk to people who serve the elderly they will tell you that emotional and financial abuse are very common. The only difference here is scale, instead of trying to grab a SS check the wife is forcing the husband for much bigger financial gain.

All it would take is for one decent democrat with a conscience to stand up and say “Enough, this it is not worth humiliating a man just to win an office” and put an end to it.

Fetterman alone, not his “handlers”, has himself to blame. He is the one that made the decision to stay in the race rather than drop out in favor of some other similar Woke Progressive in his party with a chance of winning because he figured he could hide or downplay his disability just so he had another gig to pick up a government paycheck for 6 years. His auditory and comprehension issues in the debate do not excuse his self centered, cynical ethical code that preexisted and survived his stroke. I have a lot more sympathy for a used car salesman suffering from a stroke who sells me a car with a faulty transmission and tells me about it than one who does not.
