I remember, even on this forum, when she first ran for that position how many proclaimed she was the greatest thing since sliced bread.
Fortunately as time goes on the world progresses. Many of the old Republicans have been exposed for the RINOs they were and are.

Leadership is not a quality I would associate with Liz Cheney. She was there by virtue of her last name. She is one of the type described in "Atlas Shrugged" ala Jim Taggert/Orren Boyle/Wesley Mouch.
But she has been instrumental in efforts to separate "Trump" from the base. What she doesn't understand is that Trump was victorious because of a movement that coelesced under the Tea Party, which McConnell and 'friends' collaborated with Learner and Democrats to stop before it gained momentum.
Then again, she might have some understanding, given her role on the Jan 6 committee, who is usung Trump as a proxy to use the levers of government against half the country. IMHO, that 'half' is growing, with every stupid/malicious policy coming out of DC, every FBI raid, every diktat from 'independent' extra governmental body (CDC, FDA, etc.).
