Judea and Samaria residents have assault weapons taken away
Arutz Sheva ^ | 23/10/22

Residents of settlements in Judea and Samaria are demanding that the IDF permit them to carry assault rifles for their own protection, such as the M-16 or M-4 models, in light of the increased number of attacks on the roads in the region, Israel Hayom reported.

The residents said that the IDF has acted in recent years to reduce them number of assault weapons in the settlements, often at the expense of the residents' security.

Residents of Judea and Samaria who meet the criteria of the Weapons Licensing Division in the Public Security Ministry may obtain a gun license, and many do so, but unlike the situation in the past where it was possible to obtain an assault rifle, with the understanding that there are areas where a weapon with a range greater than the ten meters of a standard handgun is needed , today the vast majority of requests to receive a firearm with a long range are not accepted.

A senior security official in Judea and Samaria says that for several years the IDF has been making efforts to reduce as much as possible the number of weapons in the hands of civilians, apparently out of fear that these will be stolen.

"There is a clear trend in which residents are not allowed to get guns, and weapons are taken from those who own them. This is unfair and illogical. ...

There are Jewish murderer rapist criminals inside the green line, along with Arabs, Russian Pamyatniks who entered the country with false papers attesting to their supposed Jewishness, and African “refugees” making life a living hell in South Tel Aviv. There are outright terrorists specifically targeting Judea and Samaria.

They will never be able to disarm the real terrorists and criminals but they can disarm honest folks to pretend they "did something".
Just like Australia. Just like they're trying in USA.

If a gun owner is a good shot, in the right circumstances he can plug a terrorist right between the eyes, as has happened many times. Then nobody has to disarm them.

No vaccine for either, and the infections are usually concurrent with a lust for power.

The same reason, fifty years ago, some police chiefs in the USA wanted to take away guns from civilians.

“ Residents of settlements in Judea and Samaria are demanding that the IDF permit them to carry assault rifles for their own protection, such as the M-16 or M-4 ”

These are fully automatic assault “rifles”. But notice how the headline tries to equate them with assault “weapons” the totally made up term the media applies to semiautomatic rifles. This is no mistake on their part.

They'd be surprised what some people can do at 100 meters with a handgun!😎

If they do a decent job of detecting and eliminating threats, I don’t care much.

Two of the main characters in Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy were butt buddies off and on. One of them became a traitor, and his former butt buddy, who was seriously injured because of his betrayal, ended up killing him. OK. Such things do happen even in the best of spy novels.

But if they’re specifically looking for trannies in Israeli intelligence, it will not end well in real life.

I loved those movies. The Chek affair was afoul. The scene with Alec Guinness interviewing him in the car was remarkable. I’ve heard Moshe Dayan watched those movies over and over.
I think the new hires are specifically designed to piss off and drive out the serious people. It’s all make believe these days.

I’m sure you’ve read Smileys People as well. I recommend the movies, although the newer versions on cd have edited vital scenes.
