Secretary of State Antony Blinken in an interview said Russian President Vladimir Putin’s recent declaration of martial law in annexed regions of Ukraine “speaks to his desperation” in his faltering war.

“I think it’s another sign of Putin’s desperation,” Blinken told “Good Morning America” in an interview set to air on Thursday.

“Just in the last few weeks, he’s tried to mobilize more forces. He’s gone through with this sham annexation of Ukrainian territory,” Blinken said. “Now, in saying he’s declared martial law in places that he claims have people that somehow want to be part of Russia, that speaks to his desperation

I can’t believe the war in Ukraine is still going on.

For the last 3 months...every day on this site I read that Putin is on his last legs health-wise, his army is in retreat, his Generals have all but been killed, the Russian people hate him, etc. etc. etc.

And yet, somehow, against great odds, Putin and the war continue.

every day for the last 8 months we’ve heard from the Russian shills how Ukraine is getting crushed, their Army is getting half their soldiers killed every week, their economy is destroyed, etc.

yet with all that, somehow this war still continues

We will wait till the Russians drop the big ones on the Ukrainians and see how many can be eliminated on that side.
