Gubernatorial challenger State Superintendent Joy Hofmeister holds a slight lead on incumbent Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt, according to new polling released Friday. The exclusive News 9 / News On 6 poll, conducted between Oct. 3 and 6, shows Hofmeister with nearly a 4-point lead one month from Election Day. Among those polled, Hofmeister got 46.8 percent of the vote, while Stitt got 43 percent. Libertarian Natalie Bruno got 2.3 percent, and Independent Ervin Yen got 1.3 percent. Likely Oklahoma voters were polled, and the poll has a plus-minus of 5.65 percent meaning that the Hofmeister-Stitt figures are within the margin of error.

Common Core . . . . I remember when it was first introduced. Not to mention the State Learning Standards The ruination of our children’s education plus many good educators left the profession earlier than they had planned.
The “Sooner” poll try to cover their arses by saying DJT has a “big lead” for 2024, 52.7 %-40.8%. In 2020 it was 65.37% to 32.29%. 2024 +11.9 vs 2020 +33.1 for DJT vs Dementia. Even at half the margin for President, it goes from Stitt behind by 4 to ahead by 6.
That “ Common Apple Core” was a BIG talking point for Jebby in 2016
She was a Republican and switched to democratic.
Her sole claim to fame is she has the teacher’s union and what few democrats we have left on her side.
So this Looer Poll says Trump will lose 12.7 % of his vote (probably more due to cheating) between 2020 and 2024.And Biden will gain 8.5%? The reported margin in the push poll is 3.8% for the School Superintendant? Taking into account the differences in the Presidential contest, you get Stitt 51.7 and Hoffmeister 38.1
I worked for a regional office of education when they first “rolled them out.” I knew it spelled T-R-O-U-B-L-E.

Her campaign is running ads full of lies and half truths. Stitt isn’t perfect, but he’s way better than Hoff.
According to family that lives in Oklahoma stitt is not all that popular in the urban areas. The urban areas and it’s voting population were responsible for passing the medical marijuana law, passing the law to get medicaid going in Oklahoma, which stitt opposed. He has also picked fights with the tribes in the state, which several members of my family are card carrying members. And many of the tribes do not like him either according to them.
I have no problem with medical pot. It’s rec pot that’s the problem. I use a topical cream on my arthritic knees. And my sister used pot to help with chemo treatments for cancer . Also a cousin who was helped with glaucoma when regular meds didn’t help
As I said, he’s not perfect, but you have to choose the lesser of two evils.
