Doesn't seem possible that Russia would be excluded from investigating the sabotage of its own pipeline.

Something is blatantly wrong here.

“Something is blatantly wrong here.”

You don’t think it has anything to do with Russia invading Ukraine, threatening to invade NATO members, and threatening to nuke just about everyone?

Can’t imagine why Sweden would not be interested in letting Russia get involved. It’s not like Russia actually flew nuclear armed bombers into Swedish airspace...oh, wait.

Russia still expects respect despite having done despicable things.

Looking worse for our side every day. Who is the bad guy here? Putin? Biden?

Sounds a lot like “investigating” the origin of the Wuhan Flu.

Put Mueller in charge...

The Jan 6th committee has credibility and plenty of time on their hands.

Something very wrong. If America didn’t blow up the pipeline, then there should be no objection to Russia participating. I have zero trust in our government. Only non-thinking idiots trust the US government at this point.

Russia needs to send a task force to site of the explosion immediately.

Its their gas and their pipeline...let the Europeans try and stop them.

Meanwhile the American government is VERY interested in and eager for getting its “ears on” the underwater audio of the area of the explosions recorded by the Swedes, Danes and Germans. Those audio recordings can be very helpful in investigations such as this since the sounds can identify various means being used for transporting men and equipment. I picture some American Intelligence officials saying “we’ve got to determine what they “have on us”.

“US considering offering to analyze underwater audio recordings to aid Nord Stream pipeline sabotage investigations”.

The point of a neutral party investigation is that it’s a neutral party, not a vested interest party. Now I suppose given the situation Sweden might not be as neutral as this investigation really should have. But, not sure anybody really provides that. But definitely Russia should not be involved. Neither should the US. Or Germany.

>>> "But definitely Russia should not be involved. Neither should the US. Or Germany." <<<

Then who? Denmark, literally a NATO "Lilliput" under the total operational control of "Gulliver" America, is a founding member of NATO.

Sweden has been a virtual member ("cooperating" is the term of political art) of NATO for Baltic naval affairs for 30+ years.

Germany is the most greatly harmed nation.

Poland is pushing to get American nuclear weapons on its territory, and Poland has both American US Navy and Polish "Sea Hawk" helicopters at its Gdansk NATO naval base. Helos that very likely carried the "anti-mine" (wink wink) UUVs that blew up the pipelines.

So who, exactly, should carry out this impartial investigation, with Russia excluded (by NATO)?
