Old TV cop shows had that scene often of the innocent officer on the scent of criminals now stopped by the corrupt dirty cops who think one tail light is burned out or the little bulb over the license plate does not have sufficient wattage under state law. One Chicago PD had Kevin Atwater stopped by dirty cops only after he had removed the planted heroin in back. Law & Order SVU had Benson stopped so it would terrify her son Noah.
Segregationists in the 1960s would target out of state plate cars to see if they contained “outside agitators” from the North. Guy I knew in college who was a SNCC member made several Freedom Rider trips and claimed “the only agitators I know are the ones in the middle of the washing machines.”

To avoid being ticketed, the drivers should drop their passengers off outside NYC—perhaps in Scarsdale, Westchester County, which is a sanctuary county.
So what if they get a ticket. The “migrants” arrived at the sanctuary city.
As a Texan, I won’t mind my tax dollars going to a ticket rather than supporting illegals.
Abbott should start sending them by train. In fact he should buy every train seat available and have them all arrive at Grand Central Station. I doubt even NY crooked cops would stop the trains. Can you imagine the mess that would create? Perhaps Abbott can find out where these crooked cops and their bosses live and start dropping them off in front of their homes in the middle of the night. Texans have illegals trespassing on their property in the middle of the night so why not let sanctuary city voters experience the same fear Texans live with constantly?

If I were governor Abbot or DeSantis, I would immediately revoke ALL New York law enforcement rights in Texas or Florida, especially the Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act (LEOSA) which allows "qualified law enforcement officers" and "qualified retired or separated law enforcement officers" to carry a concealed firearm in any jurisdiction in the United States, regardless of state or local laws. I'd search planes and buses to make sure no off-duty NYPD are traveling into Florida or Texas while carrying.
They ticket you for fluid levels? I have never heard of that.
Texas should do the same with any vehicles bearing NY plates. Get your money back in spades.

I could use a job such as that. Still, they must be using teams. I would suppose that a one way trip Texas to NYC is at least 20 hours, and they would require toilet breaks and possibly a fuel stop. I never have been to Texas so I would totally be guessing.
Rent a cruise ship, trains, airplanes AND bus. Start sending 1,000 per week, then per day.
Bus companies transporting to NYC need to utilize black drivers, then when these onerous searches occur, the drivers can cry racism.
